Katrina is a passionate advocate for green business and clean energy, and has a clear understanding of the business and policy drivers for new markets and technologies in the 21st century. Over the past 20 years, she has led diverse functions in the high tech and energy fields, working with business and government leaders around the world to champion change for the greater good through the development and use of innovative technology. Katrina also has broad experience in creating, writing, and delivering successful communications and funding proposals, and has a strong network of decision makers and influencers in the public sector and in environmentally progressive states such as California and New York.

Most recently, Katrina was Vice President of External Affairs & Corporate Strategy at ClearEdge Power (formerly UTC Power), leading the company’s strategic planning, government relations, business development, and corporate communications. She actively represented ClearEdge Power’s interests in policy and regulatory affairs impacting the clean energy sector.

Katrina joined UTC Power in September 2010 after six years with Plug Power, where she was Vice President of Business Development and Government Relations. Before that, Katrina served as Director of Operations for the Wright Fuel Cell Group at Case Western Reserve University, and also held positions in marketing and organizational development for SCO UNIX, a software company in Santa Cruz, California and Watford, United Kingdom.

Katrina has held leadership positions in numerous trade associations and on advisory boards including: the U.S. Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association; the Alliance for Clean Energy New York; the California Stationary Fuel Cell Collaborative; the Pacific Clean Energy Application Center at University of California, Berkeley; the International Energy Agency’s Fuel Cell Working Group; and the Connecticut Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition.
